Conveyor for folding and rolling crêpes

Application
A system for transferring and processing crêpes: folding into an envelope or rolling into a tube. A three-section two-row conveyor with knife-edge belt transfer both at the discharge and at the loading end. Folding is performed by sets of turning hooks and pressure rollers (envelope) or by a net (tube), mounted on the central section.
Composition and design
- Idle conveyor section 300 mm, hinged — belt tension is easily released for access and washing
- Central section 2000 mm with mounting points for six attachments
- Drive section 500 mm with a geared motor, a double independently adjustable area with knife-edge belt transfer
- Turning hooks (3 sets)
- Pressure rollers (3 sets)
- Net for rolling into a tube
- Stainless steel control panel
The frame and all parts in contact with the product are stainless steel or food-grade plastics. The polyurethane-coated belt complies with the requirements for conveying unpacked food under FDA 21CFR, EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011. Most attachments are easily removed for washing; the design is open, with a minimum of hidden surfaces. The drive is a geared motor with frequency control; operation from the panel or remotely from external automation systems.
